Welcome to our Creative Cafe!
Do you remember the days when you could go to a cafe with a few friends, sit with a cup of coffee and talk about all sorts...? Well, that's the idea of our online Creative Cafe here. So put the kettle on, and come and join us!

How does it work?
We want to get people talking, reminiscing, listening and creating, so we've got several different 'tables' you can come to and join the conversation. Composer Jill, viol player Ali, and singer Emily are already in the cafe, waiting to welcome you, so come on in, and explore The Language of Bells through music, word, and vision! Click on the pictures to visit each table.

Musician's Meeting (chocolate cake required!)
Do you play an instrument that has a piece written for it on the subject of bells? Or sing in a choir who help people celebrate their weddings? Or go to concerts and can remember a particularly striking piece that featured bells? Tell us about them, send in your recordings, and hear about what others have enjoyed.

Artist's Workshop (paint your own biscuits...)
Roll up your sleeves and send us your own creations - painting, drawing, sculpture, knitting?! - or share your favourite designs by other people.

Reminiscing Table (leaf tea for this one)
Right from the start of this project people have been telling us how memories of bells spring to mind when they think of it. Read some fascinating tales here, and tell us your own too.
